I got MR yesterday and I'm having mixed results with netflix. I'm using the supplied modem and auto settings on my devices. Xbox one and laptop work fine with netflix. But I can't get it to work on my Samsung TV and Xbox 360, both are in the lounge where we intend to use netflix. The app won't launch on the TV at all, and on the Xbox 360 I get told netflix is not in my country. I'm using a USA account on my 360. Any suggestions? Or a cheap device that can run netflix with HDMI?

Went through all the steps and cant get the Samsung Tv Netflix app to launch, I think it is a issue with the App, not MR. The 360 on the other hand, I am convinced its a MR DNS issue, the error code I'm getting is nw-1-19 and a quick google brings up results from DNS unblocking sites and fixes for the issue, but none work for me. Can anybody with a Xbox 360 please test netflix out. You will need to create a USA account to download the app.

No i cannot confirm that someone  else maybe ble too , you could just pay for a outside DNS provider , and also get support  if there are problems .I use Getflix with no problems on Spark VDSL

What about chromecast? Will it work on Netflix? I have read it's hard coded with Google DNS settings, this might prevent it from working with geo blocked apps.

Chromecast will not go, unless you can redirect DNS requests away from google's 8.8.8.8. Requires a decent router and IPtables or similar.

An AppleTV should go, you can set DNS in them and if MR's global mode isn't working, you can try testing on a free trial of Unotelly or Getflix or something.

FireTV should be fine too, you can set DNS on them.

I use getflix... it is cheaper than others.  The advantage of an external geo unblocking service is that you can change regions.  I watched a movie the other day that was not available on US netflix but was available on Denmark Netflix.

I have also found a Netflix catalogue app like "Nu for Netflix" to be super handy.  That way you can search for a movie and it will show you which regions it is available in.

To fix the netflix app xbox 360 error  "Your device may not be connected to the Internet. Please make sure your connection is working and try again. Code: nw-1-19" you get on My Republic, use the below fix.

Please navigate your console to:
1.Press the Guide button on your controller.
2.Go to Settings and select System Settings.
3.Select Network Settings.
4.Choose your network and select Configure Network.
5.Select DNS Settings
6. From Automatic changed it Manual
7. Use the DNS servers as follows: Primary address to 4.2.2.1
8. Use the secondary address: 4.2.2.2
9. Save
10. Turn the Xbox off and back on, then try Netflix again.
