So I go to orcon.net.nz, click on My Orcon and get the logon screen.  I enter my usercode and password and click the logon button.  Nothing happens - no visible response (ie My Orcon home page or error message).  I called the Orcon helpdesk but the accent was so thick I had trouble understanding what was said.

I am on Windows 10 but using IE not Edge.  I tried resetting my password and using the return key instead of the logon button - still no visible response.

I would appreciate any help!!

Hey do you have the same issue with online email logon?
I logged into my account tonight and it was fine.

Kind regards

The problem is with the MyOrcon logon - not webmail.

Tried a different browser like Chrome, to isolate if it's a browser related issue or not?

I am not a chrome user and prefer to remain with IE as this problem is a recent (last few weeks) development and I have been on W10/IE for months now.

I'm not suggesting you change browsers.  I'm suggesting you try accessing the trouble site from a different browser to eliminate it as a possible cause.  It's troubleshooting 101.  Just because something did work and now doesn't, doesn't mean anything.  The same troubleshooting rules apply.  Eliminate all those things you have in your control, then escalate to the provider for support.

Yes - I have installed Chrome and had the same problem.

When I disabled the Norton Password Manager the problem no longer occured.  I have been using this software for years (including with MyOrcon) so the problem has been avoided but not solved.  I have excluded the MyOrcon logon page from NPM auto-fill.
