From the stickied thread on this subject, "For SIP, search "<AuthPassword>". Again, there appear to be two, I'd like to know what the difference is. Trial and error."

I've found that the second password is a base64 decoding of the first.

I'm currently trying to set up an SPA112 in place of a PAP2T but the SPA112 keeps showing a registration state of Failed.  I guess this must be due to the password being incorrect.  I have the <AuthPassword> from the NF4V, but does anyone know if that is simply the password, do I need to trim anything off it, decode it (like for the black router), something else?

It seems I didn't note down the correct password when I applied it to the working PAP2T

Yep you're right.  It didn't start working however until I reset defaults a second time.

Now I just need the daylight savings option to work ...
