Seems to happen a lot in that area, or am I mis-remembering?
I had to go out but back home now and still no Network. I have rebooted the ONT and my router nothing helps.
I notice the first light on the ONT is green and the LAN1 light is flashing orange.
Ayone have any idea what to do next. Should I log a complaint with Chorus or chase Orcon.

@ronw Chorus are aware of it. Just be patient but if you haven't already - log a fault with Orcon anyway.

All working now guys. Interesting thing I had to ring Orcoin twice and they finally had to clear the circuit form their end then when I rebooted ONT and Router it all came up fine.
With so much depending on Fibre connected equipment it is really annoying when it goes down like this and cannot recover itself. I have never had an Orcon router (Netcomm NF4V recover itself after an outage. I finally purchased a device that pings 5 designated servers and if they are all unreachable it resets the router. It also allows me to access modem from outside my house so I can check that everything is sweet. It has been a god send. It cannot do much when the problem is outside the building but will restart router when network is available. Fortunately my burglar alarm has a sim card just in case something like this happens.
Thanks for help/advice
