I just updated the firmware. VPN speed increased by 3-4X and it supports WPA3 now. I don't think any of my devices do WPA3 so I kept that turned off.

Waiting for this to be available for the 7490 units I have at home. Installed at in-laws' 7590 last weekend and the UI is much faster too.

Yeah the UI is pretty snappy. I'll get the 7390 out some time to put a second WAP in, but for some odd reason my Surface Laptop gets really poor upload speed with that setup, whereas every other device works fine. Odd.

I've noticed packet loss on the new (7.20) firmware, I'm to raise a ticket with AVM..

I think your packet hit a pocket on a socket or a port,
And the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
And the address of the memory makes your TCP abort,
Then the socket packet pocket has an error to report!

Must be your network.. 😉
I've been running 7.20 since the end of July and haven't noticed any issues. If anything, I have noticed my Fritz-mesh seems to be running smoother.
