IPv6 seems to be down. Geekzone is using IPv4 and https://whatismyipaddress.com/ tells me I have no IPv6. My Fritzbox 7590 says I have an IPv6 assigned.

How about everyone else? I tried calling 2degrees but the hold time is long and I got bored and hung up since IPv4 is working.

Update - it started working again now. Must have been a glitch.

ping geekzone.co.nz

It's mostly working again now for most websites, I can ping geekzone but it's not loading over IPv6 again yet. I didn't do anything. Must have been a glitch. Might reboot the router just in case.

Wife was streaming, didn't want to interrupt her or she'd be steaming 😉

Sorry, I didn't mean to comes as condescending - I was just pointing out that even though it was resolving, your ping wasn't actually going via IPv6 at all as all results failed.

A router reboot and Geekzone is showing the IPv6 icon again. Maybe it was just a router issue... it went on the Fritz ;) I rarely reboot it, it seems pretty stable. Good German hardware, probably made in China.

Weird that they'd send them from Berlin in big boxes that have Made In Germany written on them 😂
..Maybe they make the boxes in Germany to ship the modems in..

Can confirm it was working this morning. Sometimes my router doesn't do the DHCP pass-thru properly after a few weeks and need to reboot it (Mikrotik router).

I'm using a Mikrotik router and never have issues with IPv6. I've however configured mine with SLAAC instead of DHCPv6.
