Iv'e been with Snap for about 6 months, using my old DSL200 ihug adsl modem, guys the issue is can Snap boot me off???
As every couple of hours or so my pc looses the link to the modem it uses the usb plug not the lan plug to connect to this tiny external box.

If this problem is my modem

WHAT MODEM CAN YOU RECCOMMEND?????

Im no expert (far from it) but in my experience if your not doing anything special then anything respectable retailer I.e. Dick smith, and not the cheepest they have (excluding sales).
The NZ connections Wiki has all the info for configuring a new modem if I remember correctly

usb connection isnt the greatest, if you keep getting disconnected , its because the usb connection hasnt got enough juice to stay connected. use the lan connection
