when downloading programs/torrents/files/websites etc for the last year ive been regularly hitting download speeds of 800-1100 kbps on orcon but in the last 2 months it will not go over 300 kbps..sometimes if im downloading 3 files they all sit on 100 kbps each if i download 2 its 150 each so it seems like something has changed recently but i have no idea what. maybe orcon are throttling download speeds? i dont seem to have any download restrictions atmy end..

when i do speedtests im not getting anything near the speed i used to get 2 months ago..
does anyone know how i could at least go about troubleshooting??

I would reccomend completing a quick iso test first to ensure it is not a cpe issue (your equipment). Simpy disconnect all other devices on your line apart from your modem (ensure it is going directly into JP) and test your speed again for any improvment. If there is still no change give the helpdesk a call so that further testing can be completed and a fault ticket lodged.
