anyone using orcon dialup unlimited? any complaints?

i'm debating this ($15/mth) vs kiwionline's ($10/mth)
i heard with kiwionline they disconnect you every 4 hrs - does this happen with orcon?

what about "speeds"?

(please dont ask - long story, going to timaru for 3 months into a large corporate's flat with a phone line, not allowed to install wired BB - management making noise - then to australia, no 2 degrees mobile BB in timaru, can't afford telecom/VF mobile BB for the amounts we use ... yeah how much can you use on dialup - more than i can afford on XT or VF so please!)

Isn't kiwionline actually owned by orcon anyway. I haven't heard of ISPs disconnecting users, maybe some of those free ones back in teh early 2000s did

If you're paying for a landline... What about using mobile broadband and just making phone calls with VOIP? Probably cost the same and would certainly be a LOT faster.

Great idea (as long as it's not Orcon). After you've signed up don't forget to brag to all the Orcon "broadband" customers about your "peak" time download speeds. From my previous experience with dial-up and my current experience with Orcon ADSL I'd say you could well get better service.
