When I press the VM icon on the dialpad on my iPhone4, I just get Cannot Connect to Voicemail message and I can't work out where I can set the number.

Anybody know how to do that?

Thanks

you can't program it for non-vodafone iphones as the voicemail settings are part of the carrier bundle, and since iOS 4 they've disabled custom carrier bundles.

That's strange. This iPhone is not a VF one but one purchased directly from Apple. So that means when you purchase directly from Apple you are screwed unless you use VF? That seems very restrictive but then I guess, it is Apple!

That's why my wife can use the iPhone4 and I will stick to my N1

[EDIT]

Got it working. I found an archived post in GZ that said to enter

*5005*86*+64222022002#

and press Call. That set the VM icon to the 2D VM centre and international format also so it can be accessed from overseas.
