Wanting to find out if anyone has come across this weird issue that I am experiencing.

I am on Orcon and have a HomeHub which is a Siemans SX763. The router has worked very well for me over the years with no problems.

Last night I noticed that my HP Mini 5101 netbook would not connect to it. I ran a couple tests and discovered this:

1. If I have Super-G mode enabled my HP Mini 5101 netbook will not connect to the wireless
2. If I turn Super-G mode off I can connect from my HP Mini 5101 netbook fine BUT speed is reduced. What I mean by this is: Say I run a download speedtest to one of the local providers, on the netbook I get a max of ~ 1 mb or even 800 kbs. If I run it on any other device I get ~ 18 mb. I had originally solved this issue by just enabling Super-G mode and things worked well up until last night when my netbook will not connect anymore.

Anyone come across something similar? Its completely weird.

Has there been a firmware update for the HomeHub's that got pushed out?

Cheers
