Just noticed a new tower opposite Rebel Sport in Dunedin. Is it one belonging to 2degrees?

Got a photo? The green cabinet nearby got any words on it? Check for earth pegs around it as well, they are often labelled.

Unfortunately I couldn't stop, and the tower and green cabinet is set just up a entranceway. Don't think they would like me walking onto private land

Here is where you earn your geek badge . . . head back there sometime, stroll up, take a photo. If there are people around, talk to them and be friendly :-)

I have athletics day tomorrow, but I can check Friday; from what I remember there is already excellent coverage on vodafone and Telecom XT, so fingers crossed Laughing.
Is it on the front of the building, the rooftop carpark or on the back?

2degrees are currently looking to build towers in Dunedin that I'm sure, whether or not that tower is theirs or not I'm not sure, but could very well be.

They are also looking at building towers in Palmy, Wanaka, Timaru, North cape, Paihere, Wanganui, Nelson, Napier... Reports in the news have said Hamilton and Tauranga first.

Hamilton and Tauranga have backhaul frequencies registered so the network build itself can't be far away if not already in progress (not seen any additional gear on the VF Nawton tower yet)

XT need a new tower down at Uni. Get pretty much no coverage in the library. Probably not 2degrees yet - I'm hoping XT are on the prowl to fix their shaky areas :).
