Thought I'd post this here as it might be missed on Android forum:

Maybe even better, you can now buy it for $399 at Warehouse Stationery as long as you buy a $150 top-up at the same time. ($549 all up). I took advantage of the last $150 top-up deal when I bought my P500 and was on pre-pay.

Now that I'm on Postpay, can I use a $150 top-up voucher as a credit on my Postpay account?

Yeah, the $469 promo has gone off the website even though it said it was valid until end of March

Awesome deal for the phone, Unfortunately bought mine last Friday for $550! Still a great phone though. Downgraded from a iPhone, didn't seem like too much of a downgrade at all! When was that special though? Went Friday after buying the phone from 2Degrees to Warehouse stationary and there was no mention of it?

Bought one today from Stationary Warehouse, the deal must be finished because the listed price in-store was $549. However, I got it for $399 with the $150 top up. Just finished charging and I'm about to turn it on.... sweet!

It did actually cost you $549 right?

Yeah, $399 is the cost of the phone when you purchase a $150 2Degree top up. So $549 all up. If you don't purchase the top up then the phone is $549 anyway, so it makes sense to get the $150 top up as well. I asked at Dick Smith is they had the same promotion running, but the sales guy said he wasn't aware of it but if I got a quote then they'd match the offer.

Upgraded from the first Ideos, the U8150. Just started playing around with the X5 now - so far I'm loving the bigger, sharper screen and faster processor. It comes with Swype as the default keyboard, which I'm not really into yet... maybe I'll try it later, for now though I think I'll stick with the stock android keyboard.

Swype is awesome, just give it a go for a bit longer and remember you can hunt and peck if you have to.
