Out of curiosity, and asking quite generally, is there much work for the Telco in releasing Android updates for their handsets?
It software customisation etc needed, or is it more around testing for compatibility with the network?
langers1972: Is there any chance that 2Degrees could publish the stock ROM zip file on the support website as Huawei in their wisdom have broken all the links that were working?

Alternatively, I have the 2Degrees branded B136 stock ROM if anyone wants me to upload it to mediafire or something. Let me know?

That's a great idea.

BTW, mods, if that is against any rules, please let me know. :)
I've actually been running Oxygen on my X5 for the past few days and I have to say it is miles ahead of the B136 stock rom based on 2.2.1.

Oxygen is based on 2.3.5 and it is really quite smart and snappy.
A distinct increase in battery life, and it just feels a lot faster overall.
Quadrant B136 = 1422
Quadrant Oxygen = 1877

The latest 2D firmware was on the Huawei Device website but now they've tried to adopt some fancy login page and have stuffed it up!
It'd be great to have the stock ROM to revert back to in the event that the official Gingerbread release ever came out as an OTA update.
