This is not an official 2degrees app but does not require any personnel information, nor a data connection.

Zune Marketplace Link

This app allows a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to be used when adding or removing 2° Value Packs from your mobile account. It works with both Pay Monthly and Prepay accounts. Note that due to Microsoft terms and conditions there are no links to the Voice (and therefore Combo) packs in this app.

So when you open the App for the first time (or anytime) this is the screen you're presented with. All the buttons are self explanatory. So if we pick the 1GB Data Pack button we will get the following screen.

Here we are shown what the pack gives us, how much it costs and how long it lasts. We can either opt to buy the pack, or stop an existing auto-renewal of this pack. If we opt to buy the pack the app will feed your phone the commands it needs to construct the text.

Due to limitations of the WP7 OS the app cannot automatically send the text, so the user has to do it. This allows you one final chance to opt-out of buying the selected Value Pack.

The app also includes a link to the Mobile Broadband Zone map and a list of 2degrees settings just in case you need them.

Microsoft App policies specifically forbid any app from linking to, or promoting mobile voice plans. However when this app was submitted without any Voice features

Any comments or suggestions please email me: crucias@revenantwings.org or PM me here.
