ArchPrime: I wish it had been explicitly identified as an option in the GB-PVR config utility! (the dialoge for selecting XMLTV file lists only an option to browse path to local files)
The support forum for GB-PVR would be a good place to raise that point.

I added it to updateegp.bat like so freeviewNZ-EPG-GBPVR.exe -all

Hey Phin,

Nice find, I will need to fix the bug and release a new version.
Basically you cant use the -all function when using GB-PVR, I will try to fix it in the next few days and will release the update when it is done.

Hey all... Love this program.. And must say thanks to all involved...

Um was just wondeirng if any one knew though why I might only be seeing one Box Office channel in my IRSS when there are about 15...

I should probably give a bit of detail....

OK I'm using IR Server Suete in combination with MediaPortal.  Am using the MediaPortalTVServer.bat file with the -all command to extract all the sky channels, though when I am importing my channels in to IRSS I seem to only have one "Sky Box Office channel listed"

Now this could be a bug with IRSS, but I though I would ask here first if this is a limitation of some kind... Have all my other sky channels, just missing this one...

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sorry bit of a mistake in the last post... When I said IRSS I was meaning 4TR... "For the record" the TV replacement plugin for MediaPortal...

The problem is also there even when For The Record is not used, so I guess this would be leaning towards the XML just not having it?  Any one>

@thesystemera.  Check your FTR configuration. I stopped using FTR when I found that - on a number of occasions - I only had a few days of EPG loaded when the main Media Portal EPG tables were chock full of data.  I never got to the bottom of why FTR keeps loosing the EPG, but since uninstalling it and going back to the standard TV Server configuration I now have all 8 days of EPG for all of the channels I have selected.

I had FTR set to syncronise with the DVB-EPG and that may have had something to do with it.

mentalinc,

I just upgraded to MediaPortal 1.0.1 yesterday and for some reason the epg program is now crashing and it doesn't download anything.  I don't understand how installing a new MP could cause such as problem.

Here is the batch file I'm running.

C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\freeviewNZ-EPG-GBPVR.exe" -mediaportalTVServer -all

Here is the error...

Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib, Version=0.85.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=1b03e6acf1164f73' or one of its dependencies. Any ideas?

Yes,
Give me a few minutes and ill upload a new version to handle this.

Ok have updated with new version. only fixes the mediaportal bug.

So just copy the new freeviewNZ-EPG-GBPVR.exe and ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll all should be good.

Please let me know if you have anymore problems.

Many thanks for that.  It is now working.  Just one minor issue.  It keeps loading your web page in a browser every time it is run.  Can that be stopped?Surprised

Cheers.
