Jimmy22: Good news , however when the box appears asking if you want to delete the episodes it still does not say the NAME of the item you are about to delete, i know this could be done because it says the name in the dialogue box if you wish to save a file just fine.      excellent progress though.

Thanks Jimmy

I will do that now, no problem. I will have a chat to the team about this, I am not aware that the timers reset after each upgrade so I'll let the dev team know so this won't reset.

Thanks Josh, I'll investigate further as the last update I did when this happened was over USB, will keep an eye on it, will try and get more detailed information for you.

Should be later this week but you can get the download file, go back a page and download it.

The tech heads then get to use it before the masses then they get reliable feedback before the home user descends upon the 0800 number a few days later ;)   lol

This particular firmware involves the removal of the info banner in replacement for the mini guide by Freeview, this firmware was needed last week so that the Freeview team could create instructions on their Freeview Website and also it can be uploaded, I am awaiting more info on the OND versions however it takes a few more days for the update to be on the network server. We only use the OTA update in the event that a significant Freeview change comes in, for example the Huffman compression, and for the satellite users the PRIME changes. The network and USB download eliminates the frequent use of OTA Freeview upgrades.

just thrown the new firmware on there and what i have noticed is its very slow to change channel with the + and - buttons, about 4 seconds from the button press to it actually showing the new channel

if i change the channel to something 5 or above using the + or - buttons i dont get any form of info down the bottom displaying whats on. actually it seems to be all over the place, sometimes i get the freeview guide sometimes i get the dishtv info sometimes i get nothing at all.

if i use the numbers to change the channels i always get the dishtv info no matter what channel i go to

its still doing the whole display/register 2 digits when only one number is pressed while the info bar is displayed on the screen

Hi Jase

The FreeviewPlus application is causing this issue as it has to load the required guide to appear, the Info banner has been disabled because of the new FreeviewPlus requirement, however Freeview have noted this down and will look another update that could soon help all users, This is out of our control and we hear from the FreeviewPlus developers with what we do, for example we had to supply this new update because of the FreeviewPlus Mini Guide update.
