Hi
Anyone know what state the MagicTV 3600 is in after scheduled recording or spontaneous recording?
Sometimes when I hit the all on button on my learning remote the Magic TV reboots
Sometimes it turns off after the reboot
Not sure what's going on
Also I sometimes find it on when it shouldn't be
So I'm wondering if it's not powering off after either scheduled or spontaneous record
Can anyone shed some light please?

in the menus somewhere (i think it's called 'recording options' from memory) there is an option to have it turn off after recording

I'm running firmware 3.13 beta 2 - 29/6/2010 and couldn't find that setting in the menus?

Settings->Recording Setup->Auto Standby On.
I'm running firmware 3.17 although 3.18 is the latest, I haven't updated yet as I'm having no issues. It may pay you to update to the latest firmware @ www.magictv.com

I have a MagicTV device. I upgraded it to v3.18 this past week.

I haven't had any problems with power after recording. Not that I'm aware of anyway.

Please upgrade to firmware 3.18, then perform a factory reset.
