Hi there,

I've just moved location which has an aerial and I plugged into my freeview capable tv, problem is it picks up every channel except the tvnz ones I.e tv one and two etc?

I've done the auto tune thing to no avail. Unfortunately there is no dish here.

Any ideas?

Is your aerial pointing in the same direction as your neighbours? When I lose a few channels it's the wind has pushed the aerial around. I used Google maps and a line from my aerial to the transmitter on Wharite (60km away) to find a local landmark to point at.

It is pointing in the same direction albeit a little lower down than neighbours (set of connected flats). If you think this might have something to do with it ill get the landlord onto it...

One more question, I also can't seem to get Shine tv, do you think this is related?

Cheers

Sounds like an aerial problem whereby you are receving only 2 of the 3 muxes on the freeview platform.
Is it a UHF aerial?
Is it in good condition and with good quality co-ax?
And I think you'll find Shine TV is not on Freeview UHF, only satellite.

Edit. Spelling.
