I have bought a Dish S7010PVR receiver about 2 years ago. I am using a SKY dish and it had worked fine until a month ago. I started to get "NO SIGNAL" messages on and off. It became more consistently and eventually "NO SIGNAL" constantly. I had the box tested at another residence and it worked fine (did not go through all the channels). I replaced the LNB (Dish Ku-Band LNBF), set it to 11.300HHz and managed to receive most channels, but TV 1,2, Maori TV, U TV and channel 7 do not show at all.
Can anybody give me some advice on this one please? I did set the LNB up with a Satellite finder to get the best signal.

Regards

1) Is the LNB 11,300 or 10,750 - make sure you have the box set to the same as the new LNB you bought.

2) Do a rescan for channels.

3) The skew of the LNB may be out a bit. If possible, check the signal strength meter on the box, and rotate the LNB a couple of mm each way, and see if you get an improvement.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I did select the correct frequency of the new LNB and also twisted the LNB for best signal, then did a rescan, but still no  success!
