I live in Whangaparaoa and are having trouble with Freeview HD.
I get kordia channels fing but no TVNZ or Mediaworks channels.
We live near ladies mile and I think our UHF antenna is pointed at the sly tower.
Wondering weather I should turn it to pinehill.
Thanks.

Skytower is weak as, pinehill is a lot better.

Pinehill is horizontal, same as waiatarua.

What channels are you seeing things tune in on?

How the aerial is alligned, it has to match the transmitter, if the prongs are up and down, you are on vertical, if the are left to right, they are horizontal.

Our prongs are horizontal.
Is the sky tower horizontal or vertical.
If it is vertical i found our problem.

skytower is vertical, but you are so far away that I dont know if it would work. Pinehill is much stronger and horizontal so try swinging it around to that first. They are on the same channel so no retuning should be needed.
