last time I checked, their domain tools were working... if so then change the registrant email to one of your own and then get the UDAI key..  failing that you need to get of of these people service@1stdomains.co.nz (is part of VOYAGER...see quote below)
or call them on 0800 2000-24  they helped me out.

"Voyager can also provide your Domain UDAI (with proof of ownership of the domain name), in case you wish to move your Domain Name to another 3rd Party provider."

As much as it's a challenge (as a registrar) dealing with AUDA, you've got to like the fact that a registrant can generate their UDAI directly and not have to worry about communication/billing/any issues with their current registrar.  Would be nice to see NZRS and the DNC focus on changes like this rather than decimating the second level of .nz

Now that the mandatory time has passed, I am now preparing papers for a SCC claim to serve on the current "address" for 24/7 Hosting -  thanks to "Caleb Finlay" on Facebook (thanks whoever set that up - now add me so I can start posting!).

It matters not that his girlfriend thinks it's an awesome idea to put her name on a company and let him con people even further. Bless her cotton-socks, I guess he must be a good talker.

I would have been quite content to keep spamming the 24/7 facebook page but since they seem to have removed all my posts and blocked me from posting, I guess I'll have to find another way to warn people - even though some are still giving them the benefit of the doubt.

"Why even bother" you may well ask. I initially thought they would fail and disappear - but they are just carrying on the deception and I feel others should be warned. I don't care how I do it and people can take the advice with a grain of salt if they wish - but at least more people might turn away and support someone of better repute.

I would doubt the current "address" is even valid anymore - but I will be finding out...

And it is current - just not for him. Oh well, back to the drawing board...

Facebook, Twitter and 247 website are now all offline. My guess is that they will lay low for a while and pop up under a new name and provide the same sh*t house services they have in the past.

I don't know how these people get away with running these dodgy businesses. It makes me want to take matters into by own hands and go knocking for my money at his home address (with a baseball bat).

Apparently they will be making a repeat appearance on Fair Go next wednesday (06/08/14) - it should confirm what some of us know about where Callum Finlayson currently is as well

Unfortunately is probably a few weeks old...

But still. I see Ms Skidmore is "claiming" to be running the company now. I feel for the poor saps still trying to sign up...

Can't get away with it forever! Eventually the past catches up.

Actually, something that irks me a little bit - and maybe they can explain.

Voyager seems to be bending over backwards to keep these con artists going citing "conversations", yet it is obvious that there is not a lot of new development to suggest there is anyone new behind it. "Melanie" even has the same appalling grammar as Caleb (or is it the other way round...).

Why are they not "cutting them off" after all this time rather than trying to keep them going. I do realise there are customers that need to be looked after but after all the adverse publicity you would think they are aiding and abetting. I know this isn't the case - but fail to see how 24/7 can continue to trade in it's present format when it clearly is a frigging joke...

I would say they are keeping them going long enough for everyone to move their sites elsewhere. Currently the some of the panels are semi-usable, if they all go down it will be vastly more difficult to get sites back

In their defence (since I posted a couple of weeks ago),  I was able to get onto the website for enough time to get all the details of my domains off, and Melanie helped me with a UDAI that needed generating,  so they are trying to help people out.   It's unfortunate that they are losing so many customers, but we weren't willing to trust a site that was up and down so often and so had to move.

Melanie has been saying that 24/7 is under new owership. Why would she purchase a business with a very bad public image from his BF? Seems like there's no new owner at all.

Interesting that Fair Go said they found Caleb but due to legal issues, they cannot reveal the details.
What legal issue? Court order for name suppression? Then that means Caleb is in jail and the court issues name suppression while he is waiting for his sentence? To those who are more familiar with legal matters, please correct me.

Sounds like he is on remand prior to trial to me

just FYI

247hosting is up and running (dont know for how long).

I urgently emailed all my clients/friends to do back-ups and download ASAP. I know few people who could not get anything from 247 for 3-4 weeks now.
