freitasm: And the NZ Herald now is running a story on Jethost...
"...[a] web hosting and development company that went into liquidation on June 14 owing more than $600,000.
Last Friday, hundreds of websites, hosted by a company that was previously a subsidiary of Safi Technologies, went down.
It was the result of a legal dispute over ownership of the assets of JetHost which was launched by a Canadian company.
Website experts estimate that hundreds - possibly even thousands - of sites were affected by the outage."

From my sources it's about 400-500 websites. I don't know where the "thousands" comes from.
I've spoken to Tim a number of times and he seems just as in the dark as the rest of us about what is happening. I feel sorry for him having to deal with this from Canada.
sleemanj: The director of eziWeb is a Mr Howard Bell.
There was a director of Snap also called Howard Bell who resigned in 2005.
NB: That info is thanks to coys.co.nz which is great for finding these relationships http://www.coys.co.nz/director-search/?q=BELL,+Howard+
