With the S7 the Exynos versions had better battery life, the Snapdragon's had marginally better performance for games.

Geektastic: Can't decide if I should and if I should, should I get the plus or standard version...

when I got note 2 back in the day I made a cardboard cutout to see if my pockets could handle the size etc ....Never looked back for big phones.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that made cut outs of phones and put them in my hand to see how big it was lol.

I found a video that compares the S8+ to the iPhone 7+, which my wife has.

It was all I needed to convince me that the plus would be fine.

Do you not sue Google photos?

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Google photo should be the first thing installed.  Unlimited space (for standard photos) and easy to manage :)

I back up every photo to Google photo, plus I upload to Onedrive only those photos I want to keep in full res.

With cloud storage, there is no reason to ever lose anything on your phone anymore.

Not too bad of a result! Although as they have said themselves it is not a scientific test, it does seem Sammy has improved the durability over the S7 series.

Tough choice - (1) glass back and risk of shattering, but wireless charging - or (2) metal back but no wireless charge ... ?

iPhone 8 pipped to have glass back and wireless charging too... should be interesting to see what point of difference they can come up with this time 🤔
