thats very cheap, makes selling my S4 when S5 arrives a bit suss

Yah I want to get my wife an upgrade for her S2, but she doesn't want such a "big" phone.

I upgraded my wife's S2 to a Moto G. she loves it especially the battery life....

What was the cost?

4.4.2 rolling out to Korean variant of S4 so won't be long for international release as it usually comes out before American ones.

Well some news on flashing Samsung leaked 4.4.2 without having to have knox bootloader or lose Wifi. Just flashed this Rom and everything seems fine and on old bootloader. The dev of this Rom has also found a way around the way Samsung was tying in the kernel with botloader hence being able to build kernel without need for new BL. source

Its a leak so will be some issues before official release which shouldn't be far away but the biggie is NO KNOX.

The firmware download has a problem which should be fixed by tomorrow but if you are wanting to try you will need to download firmware and kernel, open zip on firmware delete boot.img, create a new folder called wanam , open kernel zip and add the boot.img from there to wanam folder in firmware zip, close up and flash and bingo.

Its great to be back on Samsung Rom again after so long on AOSP especially 4.4.2, I'll see how its going over the next few days and report back.

Thanks for the update. My phone isn't under warranty any longer, so I am not worried about Knox unless there is some other reason to be concerned, but I am a little Anxious about my third wipe ROM upgrade in as many months going from 4.2, to 4.3, and now to 4.4.

well sounds like you may have knox bootloader anyway so fill ya boots

, but I was going to flash samsung rom regardless of knox as I can't see any where that says its an issue.

I've flashed new Roms every other week, I just backup , full wipe, flash, like and keep or don't like and restore backup and alls well.

as an aside this custom rom is looking pretty good no problems thus far.

well sounds like you may have knox bootloader anyway so fill ya boots , but I was going to flash samsung rom regardless of knox as I can't see any where that says its an issue.

yes a full wipe required. If you want knox free bootloader and Samsung 4.4.2 this is the only rom at the moment that can do this without other problems like no wifi, and you can go back to previous versions.

Its running very well I've installed wnam xposed and appops so getting it to work really well I'm pleased.

Strange but haven't seen other dev's latch onto this yet but only a matter of time
