Went and had a play. Initially I was not a fan of it's looks as it's long and narrow, which I don't really like, but then I overlayed it with my LG V20 and it's almost identical.

Still torn. I love my V20's second screen, and I am owed a flagship, BUT I prefer the Note. Do I skip the S8+ and wait for the Note, or do I get the S8+ and buy the Note8 if it's good enough to move me from my S8+.

By chance, has anyone tried clash of clans on the S8+? Does it look ok or is the aspect ratio broken?

Well the new samsung fast wireless charger has turned up from Noels.

It's nice, does not come with a power cord/power brick (like last year) however it does have a USB C to USB mirco adapter.

Much better than both of last years chargers and the slide up to stand works nicely.

Does it still use a fan when fast charging?

Can confirm CoC is currently locked to 16:9, with black bars top and bottom of screen. But that's currently all apps, apart from system and google apps.

LG and Samsung flagships are 18:9 ratio, so I'm sure app developers have that in mind for future app updates.

Spark has updated their offer for pre-order

Now you get the SD card, bonus 50% data for 6 months and $100 credit over 24 months (which brings the monthly payments down by a few dollars).

So updating deals from telco's (all of these are if you do interest free).

This is only deals on the s8 not the "other" bonus they offer (spotify, cheap movie tickets etc).

Vodafone: Vodafone has free sd card and a year of neon (which would be good if you like to watch things and with GOT coming its a free legal way to watch it).

2degrees: Has a free SD card and also 2gigs of extra rollover data each month for 2 years (good for people that need data for the life of their plans).

Spark: Free SD card, 50% bonus data for 6 months and $100 account credit over 24 months ($4.20 a month off your bill).

In my eyes spark deal is the weakest at this point, it does give enough bonus data to start making you use more but then cuts you off 6 months later.  I asked spark if they would match the bonus 2gigs that 2degrees would offer however their reply was that they are happy with their deal as the more you pay them the more bonus data you get for 6 months.  After that however they did update the offer with a bonus $100 credit.

Does anyone know if the PBTech bundle ships out together as a package? Or do you have to then apply for/claim the additional goodies like the VR? Shipping from April 28th also means the earliest we will see these delivered is Monday May 1st right? Thanks.

Free shipping code for PB Tech: WHOLOVESPB - I selected the evening delivery so fingers crossed it comes Friday evening! (Evening Delivery cost less than $6).

Any case recommendations?

I'd like one that covers the screen so am thinking the Samsung ones.
