Are you trolling? Are you going to buy one?

Have one on the way. The design was just too irresistible. However as a Nexus/Pixel user, just wondering how other Samsung users feel about it as it's not something I'm used to. Wondering if I'm placing too much emphasis on having the latest OS.

Samsung have been ok'ish with security updates, however core android updates are slow to come.  The main issue i have with samsung is that they refuse to roll out updates to their own software (always on display to name one) when there is a new phone coming out.  The s7 Edge AOD was just sh** as there was no support for 3rd party notifications yet the note7 had this.  Samsung could have pushed this out to the s7 as the AOL is only an samsung app.  It was months after the note 7 issue that edge 7 got it.

Geektastic: Any case recommendations?

If anyone looking for the S8+ Clear View Cover, Samsung NZ have them.

Has anyone used the equivalent on another Samsung? Are they robust drop protection?

Had a quick fondle at JB's today.... What a beautiful phone, I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get a S8+

Had a play with the 8+ today for the first time. By God that's a sexy piece of kit.

I made up my mind the other day that I was not going to go and play with demo stock as I have a s8 ordered already but I just know if I go and play with a s8+ then I will start thinking I want the bigger one when the s8 size will be fine.

Vodafone site suggests they'll leave them on Friday - I guess a Saturday delivery is unlikely...

'Orders received prior to midday on 27 April 2017 will be shipped from 28 April subject to stock availability. Orders received after midday on 27 April to midday on 2 May will be shipped from the following working day to arrive by 5 May if stock is available.'
