(Screenshot via Android SDK ddms)

I have a Telecom XT cell tower about 150m from my house. I'm seeing this:

Great video.

Can someone tell me how large a movie is to download via HTC Watch? May need a lot more data if using that functionality on the go!

It's good closer to a cell tower....obviously. :-)

Here's one I did at work yesterday. Nearest cell tower is at least 1.5km away and on the other side of the building.

Note that in the same place (my desk) I barely get 3G on VFNZ at all. Their nearest tower is even further away. (just the luck of the draw).

XT Network on the Sensation from my desk at work.

"Watch" only seems to work over Wifi. As it at the moment, it won't stream over 3G. There may be an update to the software after release. It has the ability to download a fresh copy of itself and perform an update.

My comments are a combination of speculation and what I have seen personally on the phone.

Well I've just been advised tonight that the importers that I'm getting my phone through has dispatched it tonight, so fingers crossed I'll get it tomorrow!

Once you download a movie, can you re-watch it without having to download it again? Thanks in advance.

At this point...I don't know. I do know I'm streaming about a dozen trailers, but not being offered any choices other than that so far. When it plays the trailers, it does stream them fresh each time as far as I can tell.

Thanks mate. Ah I see, only trailers at the moment. Hmmm, I hope they do make the full movies available in NZ!

Im guessing Telecom have disabled the function for movies then? Because I aswell asked you about the movies during the beginning of the thread and you said you could only find trailers. If that is the case then that is a real shame Telecom.

Why would Telecom want to disable movies? This is a rhetorical question:P  According to their YouTube video, it talks about movies, rather than trailers. Hope it's just a matter of a software update.

Telecom haven't launched it yet and their promo video does make specific mention of the movie ordering service.

Given that, my guess it will come 'live' not long after launch.

Made a wee video of the weather widget in Sense 3.0.

Unfortunately, I gave my SG-S to my wife and she went to Wellington on business....so I shot this video with the lowly Vodafone 845. But you still get a good idea of what the widget looks like, I think.

Great video, thanks for sharing mate.

Could you - if you get the time - show us how it performs when you are multi-tasking on the phone? Cheers.

I think we will definitely all try to get some video of how the HTC Sensation performs. I will have to try recording it with my SGS so not sure how stable my hands are.

All comments are my own opinion, and not that of my employer unless explicitly stated.
