This wireless charger (Huawei CP60) that came bundled with the pre order seems pointless. It requires the Huawei Super Charger, which it doesn't even come with it. 

 

I haven't tested it yet. My mate 20 came with super charger though. 10v 4a is impressive

Yeah the phone came with one, but why would i use that on the wireless charger when it's twice as slow? I had thought the wireless charger would also come with one.

Mate 20 pro, wow that screen looks good on my laptop screen. 650 nits, not quite HDR requirement but for normal media thats good. i LOVE the camera. im always stuck without a travel cam like my rx100 or tz100 when i have impromptu good subject to shoot. so me personally I appreciate the camera the various focal lengths. its 1/1.6", thats getting close to the dream of a GOOD 1" smartphone camera. its pixels being so big, clearly it has great low light shots. not all the lenses are 10/10 but that doesnt bother me much. its currently the highest scoring phone on DXO at 109 now, atlhough I take their test scores with a grain of salt.

Love the look of that invisible finger print and 3d facial recog, awesome.

One thing that doesnt look too flash is the speaker placements and one being a different volume, can anyone who has one already comment on that and if its really a deal breaker?

I hate dual edge style phones, i just cant hold onto them and the sammy ones being glass both sides wasnt for me, how does this feel to hold? the reviewer said as i did without its case but with the case its fine, i didnt even notice that case, would like to know what brand it is.

GSMarena says $1000 euro, Im sure it will come down, Im considering this very seriously as I can sell a lens or one of my travel cams and it pays for half of it. If not now, I might get it mid term.

Must admit, I was also disappointed when I opened the wireless charger box and found no wall adapter... If I paid the RRP on the wireless charger I would be guttard to say the least.

Who did you buy from? Whenever I buy from AExp I ask for the right adapter, even linking the Wiki, and 50% of the time I still dont get the right one. I feel your pain, its annoying.

But 0-100 in 56 minutes of 4200mah, thats insanely quick, and it keeps wireless charging awesome sauce !

I purchased from noel lemmings - The wireless charger was budled with the phone as a launch special (an apparent $129 value) - I understand all nz phones at launch were budled with this. The phone came with the fast charger I just expected the wireless charger to also come complete with its own wall adapter... Sounds like it's normal practice with the other oems also doing this.

Gotcha, yeah that does sound whack, so you have to take your charger out if you want to take it to work? $129 wireless charger you WOULD expect to have its own charger.

Have you got any gripes on the phone aside from that?

And what was the launch price you paid if you dont mind me asking?

There is only 2 things I could want more from a phone, a quad dac and a 3.5mm audio like on the LGs. A lot Id give up to just have those things in most phones so cant complain really.

Can't say i've tested it on my actual headsets though.

Yeah only works on Headphones, so you want to be an audiophile to appreciate the LGs for the DAC. Although its noticeable even with the cheap headphones, but you can get amazing asian market earphones now for $50, id have paid $200 for audio technicas minimum years gone by. but thats the same with everything now isnt it. phones are no different.

i think the v20 was one of the best all round phones ever made in its year, very under rated.

Yep i loved my v20 and honestly probably would have held on if the 8.0 update didnt make it start dropping simcards randomly... serious pain in the rare.

I do notice a difference purely on car audio even.

I haven't had a chance to sit down with my HD515s and compare the two directly.
