In case any others have the same issue, my WiFi calling stopped working with Vodafone after the last update. I was using Shizuku and Pixel IMS to get it all working.

Anyway, after some research and trial and error if you add an "ims" APN it works again.

Name: ims

APN: ims

APN Type: ims

All the rest were defaults.

Now VoLTE and WiFi calling are working.

I never managed to get wifi calling working on Vodafone. Will have another try.

Slightly off topic but is anyone else running the latest Android 13 beta having stability issues? My phone has rebooted about 4 times today while using Android auto wirelessly. And now every time I go to use the keyboard my touch alignment is out until I switch apps and come back. Can't end calls without turning screen on and off.

On Pixel 6 running T3B3.230413.003

Was that 14 Beta?
Did you do anything else to activate 5G?

Hey all,

Still trying to get VoWifi to work on my Pixel 6 Pro on 2Degrees  (currently running Android 13) and this is becoming more pressing as for some reason I can no longer get a decent signal in my house at the moment (and can't therefore not call 2Degrees to try and get it sorted)

Is there anyone that's managed to get this working who could help out?

Thanks

Pixel 7a is released tomorrow, so I'm thinking I might be able to get myself a bargain on a 6a in the coming weeks ( I'm never buying a MIUI based phone again).
Can anyone confirm, other than the camera shutter sound, is there any other difference between the Japanese version and the EU / Global version of the 6a?

Japanese Pixel phones have FeliCa / NFC-F built in which is useful when you're actually living in Japan for Suica cards.

Otherwise no, you're better off getting the global version as much as possible!

Am I right after reading above, that the Pixel phones all have 5g in NZ now? Does this also mean VOLTE and VOWIFI as well? Any carrier restrictions or models that this is better on? Thinking of swapping iPhone 13 Pro for Pixel 7 Pro.

I’m on Vodafone for what it is worth.

Can't answer for the 7 or 7Pro (or 7a as of yesterday), but I have a 6 Pro on OneNZ(Voda as it was) and I have VoLTE but no 5G or VoWIFI. I can enable VoWIFI using Shizuku/Pixel IMS and adding an IMS APN manually.

Shame. The 7a looks great. Just no point if no firm plans for 5g
