Sweet just got forced into an update which cleared all the apps I'd saved to home screen etc and made it like it came out of the box....

For those with the Ultra, the camera reviews prior to the software update has been very poor showing slow focus and blurry images.

Can anyone comment on how the camera performs after the update?

Can't really as updates there when u start the phone ...I think its better don't really know only used for less than a day yet

Anyone had any word/info from 2Degrees on when they'll be sending pre-orders out?

Edit: Called them myself and was told that they'd be shipping from the 6th (Friday) which is what I expected but hoped they'd be getting theirs out early like the retailers.

Mine didn't come out of the box with the March update, i had to update it afterwards. I played with the camera a little bit before I update it, I would say the focus is a little bit better but can't really draw any conclusions since it was during different times during the day with different subjects etc.

Day 1 with Galaxy S20+
Upgraded from Note 8

Suitably impressed.

120hz is amazing. Along with the epic screen and speed of phone, general use, scrolling and social media is very pleasing.

The cameras are also fantastic.
Night mode is epic...have been testing it compared with auto modes and the results are...well day and night! I haven't had a phone with a dedicated night mode so only comparing my experiences.

Ultra wide is great and the zoom is interesting. 30x is pretty mud for quality but novel. But 10x seems good.
Single Take has been belittled online in reviews, but I love it. Especially for taking photos of my daughter...getting 9(?) different shots with video, boomerang, b&w, ultra wide options is really cool.

Size is the same as Note 8 but screen bumps up from 6.3" to 6.7". Screen is much flatter, but never had an issue with the curved screens.

Too early to judge battery life, but reverse wireless charging is going to be great for the buds+ (and topping up the wife!). Charging speeds seem pretty good for the 25w box charger.

Oh and the Buds+ are really sweet.

interesting, I thought PBtech was delivery only? no pickup allowed when I ordered my S20+, still haven't got any email about my order yet

Presume that S20 will be the same as S20+ and yes, will have a clear case in the box. Have slapped mine on until I get my preferred case.
Also comes with a screen protector pre-installed.

I got mine from Samsung and it didn't come with a clear case tf
