To answer my own post the update hit my tablet today. Bit of keyboard lag on this ste.
A few asiancentric updates like casino shortcuts and some site that requires a login but is all in Chinese. Nice improvement to the thumb controls in the browser.
Not happy that Google + forces me to use the mobile version where I can't drag and drop people into circles. I guess that is tablets for you.

You could try switching to 'desktop' view. Within the browser, go into settings and look for where you can toggle between Desktop and Tablet. Might be worth a shot.
Or you can install the actual G+ app instead, but you won't be able to drag and drop.

Looking at this thread maybe we need an "official" Acer Iconia questions thread as the Harvey Norman price thing is a bit irrelevant now.
