My Spark preorder has now been delivered and I'm setting it up as I type.

Beautiful device, the case I have appears to render the fingerprint scanner totally useless unfortunately, oh well, was only about $5.

So just called 2degrees in albany and they are still saying the 22nd for pickup :(

Glad you've got your note! That's awesome.

One thing I never understood is how people reason spending $1000 or more on a phone but won't spend more than $20 on a case... If you're going to use a case, why not protect it with a good quality case. No offense intended just something I don't understand.

The genuine samsung cases are well worth the money.

I've been watching this thread with interest, amusement, and jealousy (I'm sitting this one out because my note5 does everything I need it to).
I've also appreciated the positivity of the thread with no trolling at all :)

Yep, I called 2D in Hamilton at The Base, and they weren't aware of any early release and said Friday still. However, I am impatient bugga, so will call them this afternoon to see if anything has changed!

For all those who receive today, keep letting us know...extremely jealous right now if you do get it today...pics and comments please!

Sooo jealous!! Well, I don't mind waiting till Friday because that's my day off but I'm feeling paranoid about even getting it on Friday =( my HN online order for pick up hasn't changed.

Called HN, they know nothing about an early release. The guy said devices hadn't arrived in store yet! He is going to call around and call me back. Said he would do his best to sort my phone today if it were possible.

The guy called back. I can't tell if he is being truthful but his response is that Brightstar don't have their stock yet, and will get it tomorrow, ship it tomorrow for Delivery Friday, might be able to pick up Friday, Saturday or Monday.

I asked him how Spark customers are getting devices today, he said Brightstar told him that wasn't possible as they hadn't released any stock.

Really disappointed.

PB tech also said they are not releasing till friday, they did hear about it being pushed forward but then pushed back again, so to be safe they are not releasing till friday. Sounds like someone at samsung sent info they should not have.

Ahh lucky guys, those that have received their phone, does it come with an official case in the box? HN says that it comes with an official case with the phone when you go to"What's in the box" section.

Hi Carly, Can you please attach the link for the source which you have advised. Unfortunately the 22nd is still the release date as far as our current promotion is concerned but I will make some enquiries on you behalf. There is allot of sponsored and fake news out there so I will require the source link before we can have the marketing verify this and advise if there can be any movement on release of goods.
