TBH, I bought a OPO from PBtech on Saturday. So far I'm loving it. Great feel, really nice and responsive, Cameras are great. I would quite happily if I were in your shoes, go buy a OPO. WAAAAAAAY worth the price that's being asked, and considering it's a significant amount less that the competition this to me is a no brainer.

Can you fill us in on what Version of Android it is running etc, just wanting to see if it has ColorOS or the Version that comes with the US OPO

Mine has cyangen, when it was first turned on it was on 4.4.2 then had 2 or 3 updates its now on 4.4.4

OK. Here is a good summary of the Oneplus and bands. It relates to Aussie but is easy to work out for here. Band 28 is missing from both devices.

http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/mobile_phone_oneplus

Both have band 3 which is 1800 Mhz. Band 28 is 700 MHz being deployed by Vodafone.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

As long as we have band 3 it will be fine for now, not many phones have band 28 yet from my understanding.

Maybe yeah. At the rate the market is going, it won't take long for another Oneplus to come out.

That's a long time to wait for an upgrade to a phone that I don't own yet.

I was looking at it more in the way I will get a good use out of the phone before I will need to upgrade, i'm hoping this will be a move away from Samsung and bloatware for good.

Just saw on the Oneplus website that my phone has been delivered to my Youshop.. But I havent received any emails from Youshop yet - nor has it been logged to my Youshop account. Going to wait for that email until tomorrow - they might be busy processing things etc.

But Im hoping that it is on its way by tomorrow! I would love for it to reach NZ by this weekend.

Mine arrived around mid day US time to youshop  (27th 8amish nz time) and I got an email around 230 in the afternoon, so around 6 hours from when courier dropped it off to when it was logged in youshop.

Paid for it straight away and it left 4am US time the next morning on the 27th US time.

So its in Limbo at the moment have not heard anything else for 3 days.
