gehenna:

Up to you, just telling you what I did to get better battery.  Personally I don't give AF about higher refresh rates.  Though I saw this the other night which is pretty cool: https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyNote20/comments/j0fqkq/fyi_you_can_use_a_bixby_routine_to_switch_refresh/

Tried this routine and it doesn't work for me, checked on youtube and although it says it's switched to WQHD+ all videos will only go as high as 1080p, if I manually set screen to WQHD+ then youtube will default to 1440p.

Sounded cool.

I am thinking about buying one of these, any thoughts from anyone about it?

https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Station-Power-Delivery-iPhone11/dp/B07THC5DJV/ref=sr_1_9?crid=1K6G7DUOTQ76P&dchild=1&keywords=pd%2Bcharger%2B100w&qid=1601371951&sprefix=pd%2Bcharger%2B%2Celectronics%2C323&sr=8-9&th=1

I am not sure if there is much advantage over my 60W ones, but I have had a unit fail this week, so probably need to replace it.

gehenna: If anyone is wondering, the Galaxy Watch 3 is awesome too

Been using galaxy 42mm watch since release and finding battery starting to die going  from 3 days down to 1.5 days so was looking at this which looks brilliant upgrade and played with watch at noel leeming before lockdown and felt good size and quality and liked,  but then seen price $750 and don't think i could justify that price so will just wait until good deal comes around for it.

Finally upgraded to 45mm Galaxy Watch 3 and it's an awesome watch cost $529 all up with Noel Leeming sale and ordered through the market with coupons so really happy and price worth it, wouldn't pay $800.

Likewise, about 3 weeks ago mine arrived.
Didn't hear anything either and was getting close to chasing it up and a courier arrived.

Must say I'm well pleased with the sound from it and it has an audio input jack to boot

So emailed and found out they have sent my pre-order bonus to someone in Hamilton, never lived in Hamilton and did not put a Hamilton address down when filling in their form (day 1 of release of the phone). Signature was just the courier leaving it at the address.  Was told they would follow it up but have not had a reply from them apart from the "we are looking into it" after they replied with a courier number.

Don't really know why it got a hamilton address as the phone turned up to the correct address on release.

Not really happy about this.  Did not get an email that they have sent it etc and now up to week 9 of waiting for it.

And they just replied.

It seems the package was "lost in transit" which i am reading as "we stuffed up and someone in Hamilton got a free hyper boom"  Another is getting sent out.

I just picked up a ultra 5G over the week end.

What screen protectors are you guys using?
Is there anything that will work with a case?

It's a good improvement over my S7 Edge.
Although I miss my Injustice theme.

I'm still using the screen protector that came installed out of the box.  It's really great to be honest.  I'll end up removing it at some stage when it gets a bit scuffed, but it's still holding up very well since the phone arrived a couple of months ago. I won't use a screen protector after that, I'm done with them.  I've only had one break over 13 years of smart phone ownership, so that's a pretty low hit rate.
