Linux:ShinyChrome Are you on 2degrees also? I am on 2degrees with 2degrees official handset and having zero issues
Linux:
@IvanPiacun Why would you buy a 2degrees handset to use on SparkNZ?
Handsets run different software versions for different carriers

I'm having the same issue on SparkNZ using a Samsung S20 Ultra? I might downgrade and get a credit soon too?
A bit of an update on this.
First, I've managed to get hold of a senior staffer at Samsung NZ. They have confirmed this is a known issue to them.
The issue affect a small number of handsets. They say the number can be counted on "fingers and toes" so we are talking a fairly small percentage, BUT they have said it is a known problem.
Mine is the first handset they have seen in NZ with the issue, that is NOT using Spark for voice and calls. (I'm using Voda for voice and calls, and spark in the second sim tray for data).
I've been asked to send my handset to Samsung NZ directly, and they are planning to forward it to their engineering team in Korea to try get a handle on whats going on. From that I take it, while they are aware of the problem, they do not yet have a handle on exactly what the cause is. However it is looking increasingly likely it "may" be a hardware fault.
Samsung NZ also took the step of offering me a 100% refund as store credit to buy another handset of my choosing, or they will ship me a brand new handset obviously without any guarantee a new handset will resolve the issue.
StevenWg: Does any one still having this issue with the new software Ate6? Mine seems OK after software update, but want to confirm with others.
I'm still seeing this issue with TE6 firmware. It has not resolved it.

I've tried both positions. The only thing I haven't tried is eSIM.

IvanPiacun: Mine is the 2Degrees version and I am having trouble with it. I am on the Spark network.

Samsung have told me the only difference between the Spark / Voda and 2 degrees variants is the 2 degrees vs Spark app preloaded on the handset. Other than that they are identical.
@Martin_NZ I can tell you now it's not just the App you also have band scan power up is different and also CA of 3G and 4G bands
You also use to have fast dormancy enabled on the VodafoneNZ sold devices and not on the SparkNZ ETC.....
That I don't know for sure, but it's what Samsung told me.
The NZ S20 Range are the first to have a new CSC... bar the included app they are all identical.
