P1n3apqlExpr3ss: AT+T - 850/1900 UMTS
Verizon - CMDA/LTE
Sprint - They do appear to have a UMTS network but seem to be pushing 4G tech
T-Mobile - 1700/2100 UMTS

Best bet is easily AT+T but I heard the Prime will be Verizon exclusive?

The US versions will be, but there is apparently Asia and Europe versions coming too

The Unlocked event is now in Hong Kong

Of course, I just assumed you were intending to import from the USA

Another 7 days to go when we could have had all the details today... oh well

Should be interesting. I will be able to decide on my next mobile after this event. Currently swaying towards the Samsung Note (mainly due to its larger screen size).

I have been playing with a HTC Sensation and first the screen was a bit large compared to my N1. But I can get used to it. So I am looking forward to the Nexus Prime also and was planning to get one in January when I am in the US. I hope by then there will be a ATT or T-Mobile version released.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

im going to be in the states in Jan as well... picking up a nexus prime then would be magic. but considering how long the SGSII took from announcement to carrier selection to release in the states, it would actually take magic for the prime to be out by then...

the specs are perfect for a handset - what more does it need to be? 2ghz quad core processor? what are we expecting.. a moderate clock speed means more realistic battery life... its got a gig of ram, reasonable storage, i dont know if "more" is required to keep it in a reasonable price range also.

and looks like 4.65" doesnt end up unnecessarily massive. its only 10mm taller and 1mm wider than the SGSII. and what 20grams heavier?? all those people complaining about massive size i just dont think they know what they are on about. its just a slightly larger screen in an average (for this day and age of SGSII's and Sensations) handset

i wonder about the screen placement tho - the screen seems to start further down from the top of the phone than where it ends - seems to end low as well. so the soft keys end up low, but it means the screen appears offset? if held in landscape mode, doesnt that mean the screen sits off to one side? im just a sucker for symmetry

but the specs are great, most impressed with pentaband HSPA, this will really just work anywhere. i hope it means it can just be released or bought anywhere, and have a good chance of working here on both voda and xt.

the slight curved screen means reflections and glare should be reduced to just single horizontal lines...?

and yeah, most keen on seeing ICS in action
