openmedia: Anyone seen this show up at Harvey Norman yet?

robjg63: I presume having 2 sims active in the phone would decrease battery life somewhat?
Would it be worse if you had one sim for Telecom and one for Vodafone say - as opposed to a vodaone/2 degrees combo?
As much as I am tempted - I think I would want the 16GB version and there doesnt seem to be any sign of that so far.

openmedia:Zipdisk:surfisup1000: I was thinking about getting one of these, but, finding there is no micro sd slot kills it for me.
The only thing I can think why this phone was 'great' was for the processor and screen -- but, none of that is any good if you can't fit barely any stuff on the phone.
You can add memory a number of ways OTG USB stick, micro USB OTG cable and a Micro USB to Micro SD card adapter..
You Tube has some Videos for the Moto G regarding this..

Very cool device. I'll be interested to hear if it works with 4.4 on the MotoG

Zipdisk: I see that Stuff gave the phone a bad review
http://www.stuff.co.nz/technology/gadgets/30012072/moto-g-the-best-cheap-phone
Plus they don't have a clue its a Open ended Phone you are not locked into a Carrier, so no need to wait for 2 degrees at all.
Just think its a dual sim phone so is Telecom/Vodafone going to disable the other sim..

That's a Gizmodo Australia review reposted on Stuff. I wouldn't say it's a bad review - they're generally positive about the phone aside from a few minor niggles (lack of LTE, storage space, camera). They also describe the screen as "best in class" but then go on to say it's sharp but bland.
