Any way just got off the phone with NL head office. No dice! Good Game. The CS told me that 32GB will becoming to NZ but could possibly be delayed for 2 to 3 months from the release date just like the iPhone 4S 32GB model.

My expression was @|Q.o|@ you get the idea.

If that is the case then.. I'll be pretty swift to move to a 16GB..

Oh well..I'll head out to NL today and get the 16GB unfortunately.. boo.

Let just give it for another Month. And I'll burning down Noel Leeming later if end of July comes without my S3.

Update; Just got a phone call from JB head office that Vodafone NZ told them that OUR S3 WILL BE LATE on arrival. And it will be at the end of this month. .....W....T.....F.....

Some good news and some bad news.........

Just went into JB Hi-Fi in St Lukes as I've been thinking of changing from the 32gb to the 16gb. Asked the sales guy when the 32gb will be in and he said 'Hang on, I'll get the manager'. The manager turned out to be the GM for JB Hi-Fi. Talk about timing. Expressed my frustration at no actual date so he rang his contact at Vodafone to get dates. Vodafone are expecting the Blue and White on the 23rd July, then it will be shipped to stores a couple of days after that (about 25th July).

So, we have a date (which the GM said can be relied on), but it's not for another few weeks.

Most stores (VF, NL or JB) won't have this information as I lucked in with timing of my visit to the store.

JB Hifi Sales Executive phoned me this morning and told me the same thing. End of the month will be expecting the Galaxy S3 and the information is from Vodafone NZ. As they are the one importing the damn phone but BrightPoint only the logistic company who doing all Vodafone dirty work. NL, JB and HN are basically Vodafone's ***** and only know things when Vodafone opening up their gap.

Yes.. looks like I'll have to wait till then. I rang NL as well and they think its about a month wait or two months.

Here is an email from Harveynorman regarding this boys:

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your query. Product should be available from 27/07/2012 but we would recommend you to place and order as it is going to be based on orders only.

So this is the third source of info which points to the same date or similar..

Hey guys,

Just to join in, came back from Noel Leeming and guy called Brightpoint and he also got the date of 23/07/12 for shipments arriving. I was like but that's another few weeks and gave him my biggest sad face.

Tempted to get the 16GB Blue SGS3 but the guy couldn't match the 20% discount and could only offer it for $950 - which is more than what I paid for the 32GB phone.

Guess 2 or so more weeks guys. Let's start a group. LOL

**On a sidenote, Parallel Imports said they could get the Blue 32GB SGS3's 2-3 days after ordering it. Also waiting for a confirmation call from them later in the day.

I can bring a cake? and maybe a couple brewskies...? keep in mind, Im still awaiting my 32GB here too...still no ETA from NL Albany when I went in today briefly...to pretend to be interested in buying a 32GB unit but the sales said that they had no stock but offered me to make a "pre-order" so I can get it as soon as stock came in but did not have any ideas when...in the alternative universe I would have planted my foot up his asss...

But then again, I aint an angry or violent person...a burger always calms me down..."dont forget the mayonnaise..."

Hang on there peeps, but the wait is worth it...white S3 does look like mayonnaise

Just confirmed with BrightPoint that ETA is 23rd this month. Could be earlier or could be later but 23rd is the ETA they have right now.
The shipment will only be for allocated store that have already taken pre-orders. It will be a small shipment and there is next shipment after this one showing up on their system just yet. So which meant that 32GB version will be limited in number and won't be widely available until a few more months later.

Update:

Do not jump for joy just yet. We'll wait for the definite confirmation.

I know this is not suppose to be in this section but its easier to get hold of you Integer...where was it that you got your 64GB SD?

I got mine off eBay seller.
