networkn: Warehouse Red Alert Deals have the S4 outright for $1149 be quick. XT model has free headphones too. Secured mine.

Saw the phones on their regular website earlier, I believe they have 20% off phones atm and couldn't understand why the S4 was the only one out of about 120 that wasn't on sale ;)

I was going to switch my decision and get the S4 as opposed to the One, but after playing with one for a good few hours, I went with the Note 2, no regrets, I bought it outright off TM and am due an upgrade in August with VF plan, so may still get the S4 and have the best of both worlds.

After briefly playing with one this morning im more than happy to keep my S3 to be honest, don't get me wrong the screen is fantastic but I don't feel like its worth the price for me to jump up to it yet, will hold onto this until the next galaxy.

I really did want this phone, I wanted to love it, but I just can't bring myself to purchase it haha

I'm trying to decide what to do - can anyone tell me where I can find the plan transfer charges for Telecom. I want to know what happens if I change to a lower plan after signing up to the $119 plan.

I have tried to find the information for myself on their website, but either I'm missing the obvious or their site needs work...

I felt the same way, there are some good new features but they are more luxuries than must have. I could do with the 4G since I didn't get the S3 which had it but as that hasn't really kicked off yet I'm in no hurry. Auto scroll and auto pause are pretty cool, didn't know the air scroll was only for videos (well from what I could see).

Got mine outright from Noel Leeming's. It's very light, pretty happy so far. Not a great leap from the S3, but a big leap for me being on the original Google Nexus for the last few years. Enjoy new owners!

Still waiting for CourierPost to deliver and beginning to believe I won't see my new phone until next Saturday (I'm in Wellington all next week).

I knew I should have collected the phone instead of expecting delivery when it was promised!

Not much good I can do with the track&trace information if the sorting office is closed until Monday

By the way, S4 owners looking for MHL cables might want to check out Noel Leeming here. Despite it being in worldwide shortage they actually have the MHL 2.0 adapter for the S4 in stock! I just picked one up from the Manukau store, but on a stock check most stores seemed to have 1-3 in stock.

RE: MHL -

S3/Note 2 adapters work with the S4 in case you were wondering.

MHL 2.0 brings output up to 60Hz (from 30), allows 3D content mirroring, doubles the charge going into the phone if you have a charger connected, and does NOT require a charging input any longer like the older ones did.

ad a play at NL's very impressed was better looking than I thought it would be after all the negative struff about build quality. What is the problem people have with having plastic back I really don't see the issue, look at a brand new car how much plastic does that have now and does it matter, no not a jot its what is under the hood that is of more concern.
It is very lighrt and thinner than S3 felt good in hand, screen was very nice so I'm sold, was in 2 minds but not now however I'll wait until the sales or queens birthday deals.

Thanks. Its just a shame I can't seem to determine which MHL version my AVR supports (Integra DTR50.4).
Neither Onkyo/Integra or the MHL consortium state it anywhere.
