I have an IN2020 model on Android 11 running 5G successfully

Great to hear! What network are you on?

Are you on Android 11 O2 Beta 2? Have you ever experienced battery drain issue....?

Cheers.

Why are you asking about beta, since there's a final version released?

I should have waited when I originally had it vs returning it. Nice to know a software update added it rather than it being completely disabled. Been stuck with an S20+ and quite frankly I missed the OP8 so I'm gonna pick it back up and sell the S20+.

As for VoLTE I see it's a bit hacky reading that thread. Any specific tweaks I can do to get it running on Kogan/VF?

Expert Infotech has it for $979 but unsure if it's the same IN2013 that PBTech sells or not, have enquired.

Should update. I ordered a OP8 through Amazon via a 3rd party seller and despite the listing saying the IN2013. I got the IN2010. Bummer. Since I do venture into the rural areas where B28 is only available and no B8 this isn't for me. After much debate with Amazon I did get an instant refund so I've gone ahead with Kogan who are selling it for $1069. They also give you 30 days of 32GB data and unlimited texts and calls(was already with them so sweet). So I'll be waiting another week.

Since I still had the IN2010 around until tomorrow I did actually get VoLTE via this method on the OP forums (I only had to change the config to Commericial-TMO for sub0 and sub1, also obligatory dragons ahead) working on Kogan Mobile so I imagine this could work with Vodafone. Unsure on Spark/Skinny.

Anyone has successfully used 5G with Spark?

I'm on stable Oxygen 11 and Spark says 5G is live in Dunedin, but I haven't seem to be able to get it.

Unsure if it means something but Spark uses N78 band, the OP8 (IN2013) can use 78 (without the N)

So I've got my IN2013 and threw my sim it. Got VoLTE working without root and had it working on Oxygen OS 11.0 and now the latest OTA just broke it. Anyone experienced this and know a fix or know of a way to roll back without data loss? Would prefer to not root but I will if I have to.

Edit
It also broke 5G. Wonderful.

I hope I'm posting in the right thread here - I'm still fairly new!

I bought the OP 8T at the weekend. I had been checking here on GZ to see if anyone had experience with it but couldn't find anything on the 8T specifically.

So I thought I'd post with my feedback, in case there's interest or questions.

I was a bit wary of getting a parallel import tbh - but I'm glad I made this choice. The phone is absolutely ace. I've never had a flagship phone, but I reckon this comes pretty close (apart from a couple of things I'm not too fussed about anyway, like IP water rating and wireless charging).

Yes, I got that 25W Samsung all-purpose (haha) charger with it, since obv the original warp charger is not included for NZ.

This phone has a beast of a battery. I use my phone like a computer, and can go easily 2 days without charging if I run at 60 Hz refresh.

Don't want to burble on too much here; happy to answer any questions.

I have IN2023 version of 8 Pro and my 5g wasn't working.

Then found this thread and a link to the youtube video which is in french. You can turn subtitles on and follow the instructions to apply the modification.

I didn't need to root my phone or anything. Process was fairly simple and easy to follow.

I can confirm that my 5g working with Vodafone SIM in South Auckland and getting good speed with tests.

Here's the link to the video.

Does anyone have their clear case from their oneplus 8 pro that they never used and would be willing to give/sell to me?

Pretty sure I've still got mine, unused in the box.

Where are you located?
