jeffnz: ad a play at NL's very impressed was better looking than I thought it would be after all the negative struff about build quality. What is the problem people have with having plastic back I really don't see the issue, look at a brand new car how much plastic does that have now and does it matter, no not a jot its what is under the hood that is of more concern.
It is very lighrt and thinner than S3 felt good in hand, screen was very nice so I'm sold, was in 2 minds but not now however I'll wait until the sales or queens birthday deals.

I was surprised actually, the Black Mist one I got looks better than the pics I'd seen would lead me to believe. Does feel nicer in the hand than the S3, I think the squarer edges and extra thinness help there.

yes you may well be right Murray also the Black mist back cover was very nice compared to the shiny blue S3 which I don't like.

I'll see if I can wait until specials come up

Anyone else on here enter the get in line promotion Samsung were running?

I finished at number 420 which means I won a $50 voucher. Looking at the Samsung Facebook page it doesn't look like any of the voucher winners have been notified of their prize and there are no comments from Samsung in answer to questions wondering where the vouchers are.

The terms & conditions state prize winners would be notified by 1 pm yesterday but it doesn't look like that has happened other than for the top three who won a phone.

Anyone here know what's going on?

i'm very suspect of the whole thing.. i was 427 at 11:30pm the night before and although i didn't feel overly comfortable with my position.. the next morning i had magically dropped by 200 places...

Reading the FB page for samsung nz, there are tons of people equally angry at the lack of communication and also that some of their feeds weren't updating, which i guess could of explain my magical drop in places..

i'm undecided about which phone to go for.. and which carrier.

I love 2D for their plans.. but their reception is shyt house at best. Keep getting missed calls, service drops out.
I'm thinking Telecom as i moved from VF due to equally sh*ty recpetion and customer service.

Looking at how to get the best deal for this, currently i think the best way is to take another retailers offer of a s4 at 1149 to warehouse stationary, use the price beat guarantee to get it for $1091.55 or perhaps wait for competition to set in. Competition will only happen if there is enough stock though.....

Warehouse Stationery will only beat a better price not the same price

I have the waterproof Xperia Z, and I don't use it's waterproof capability, I don't trust my unit being the 1 unit that is faulty and having to try and prove to DSE that my water damaged phone is not my fault

I wash my xperia z every 2-3 days. I love showing it to my friend that this phone works underwater :-)
