I think E-Info have it wrong on the MicroSD issue, they are probably saying that because there doesn't appear to be one bundled with the phone (they will have opened them to ensure none are DOA before sale), not realising its already in situ in the card slot.

Hmm, didn't mean to derail this thread into E-Info criticism.  Should probably park that for now eh?

I'll get some clarification from them on the microSD card issue though, would be good to know for sure.

Must have been on the same flight - mine arrive 10.18am then passed customs and then "in transit" at 12.36pm.

FEDEX deliver themselves, well at least in the major centres.

Mine's in the country now as well. Must have been a big catch up of packages this morning. Should only take a day to get down to Wellington, then delivered on Tuesday, finger crossed!

Me too!!! :-) :-)

Funny how after days sitting in Poyle all of sudden it's in Auckland... They say "In Transit" when it arrives in Auckland not when it leaves Poyle???

Can't wait to get it tomorrow at work where I'll stick on the charger, then I can start playing as soon as I get home! :-)

I have a question - in anticipation of tomorrow's delivery from Clove - about the HTC Desire's charger. What did you guys get? I'm assuming it has UK plug?

Yes but it has a USB to micro USB cable so any pc will charge it. I havent attached my UK plug to the charger yet as I dont think it will come off once its connected and I think you will be able to get a Kiwi one at some stage.

In case anyone was wondering, the UK pin attachment does come off the charging unit, albeit with a bit of force :)

I believe the charger was meant to be interchangeable with different countries' pins which should be available in the near future.

Thats pretty nifty - hopefully they don't cost the earth for one!

I have a miniUSB wall charger I received with my Telecom Okta (HTC Vogue rebranded I believe)  Will that work with the Desire?  Or will the voltage/watt/energy/something be wrong?  Would hate to find out the hard way by ruining my device :S

ps. my desire has been delivered this morning - i live in wellington so thats snappy overnight couriering for sure!
