Very nice!! Can't wait till I get mine from clove!
Where did you get the controller from? Is it just bluetooth? Could I connect up to 4?

From what I understand, you can't use a PS3 controller with it right?

M_I_C_H_A_E_L:Pre Orderable from Vodafone from tomorrow?

SGS2 is up on the Samsung NZ site - pretty damn certain it wasn't there a few days ago when I looked?

Here's hoping Clove will let me cancel my back-order...

Vodafone don't tend to list pre-order's unless it's an Apple device. It's only on the Samsung page at the moment. Will do some recon to JB later unless someone else beats me with the low-down.

We (our corporate VF liason) have received official notice from Vodafone NZ - Pricing is indeed $1199. Available for order now, but they haven't told us a release date. I'm going to go ahead and assume that June 15 is a reliable date.

So, placing my order with them now. Maybe I'll be lucky and corporate orders will get in before the store ones do. I'm not holding my breath :)

Bah, they haven't actually made it available to order from the corporate site yet. :(

Yeah its not on Vodafone just yet, maybe later today or a week out from the release date - who knows. I will most likely only pre-order if you get something worthwile for free. Otherwise I'll just wait till it gets released or buy it cheaper from an importer.

Edit: We are hi-jacking this thread with all this talk of Vodafone releasing it. Its meant to be for the Owners lol

Agreed that it's probably cleaner if buying information is posted over on the Who's Interested thread rather than the Owners' thread.

For those of you waiting to buy, it'll be worth it. I think that many of us owners have had our devices for about 3 weeks now, and I for one would not change mine for any phone currently on the market. The phone runs so smoothly, and I'm having no problems getting 2 days light use out of it (with push email enabled over WiFi).

I was having issues with the Android OS using up all my battery (50%+ per charge) but that has now dropped back to what i've read is normal (3-4% per charge) having changed nothing? so not sure what's going on there.

But now i've got the issue of the "Wi-Fi Sharing" using up 55%+ of my battery.

Does anyone know what is causing this? I have had wifi turned off for all but about 10minutes today and it still seems to be able to chew through my battery.

I've had similar issues with wifi sharing using up most of my battery, cell standby as well - Weird.

However my battery lasts around 2 days so I'm more curious than bothered

Mine has only started with the wifi problem today, maybe it just likes having wifi on and this is it protesting that i've got it off.

My problem seems to be quite intermittent too, i got 2 days out of it late last week then it started draining quickly again over the weekend and was ok again yesterday.

Weird is a good way of putting it.

NZtechfreak: MHL demo video up - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bmtulP9Vlg&feature=player_embedded

I watched the video this afternoon. Great coverage of the MHL adaptor, looked awesome playing the videos. One question, with the MHL consortium adaptor requiring power does it charge the phone? I'm assuming that once MHL capable TV's start coming to NZ that you won't need the power adaptor as the TV will charge the phone?
