lofreq: im lazy enough (but also happy enough with phones current performance) to sit back and wait for the improvements Darky is talking about for 9.3, which will most likely be based on JS5 and include Hardcore's latest and greatest :)

still... no rush aye ;p

Yeah, I definitely won't be doing anything with JS5 unless Doc or Darky come out with a new rom using it.

Is anyone finding Speedmod k12U a little touchy in any games?, I've been seeing a little lag in games like Fruit Ninja(Yes I know but its addicting). I did switch back to K12T just to see if it was me being imaginative but it was smoother, overall U is smoother, just not in games.

i get random screen flicker - as in, brightness flickers bright/dark randomly when in the middle of gaming. bit of a stutter/lag when this happens. just a tiny bit.

i dont recall it happening outside of gaming... never used to do it, and ive read similar reports about this, so im blaming this version of the kernel. not a biggie for me, im hoping that being a known issue it will be resolved in K13a maybe.

I've found that my phone lags when a new notification is played, e.g. I was scrolling though my TweetDeck app and the notification played and my phone wouldn't respond at all.  Next thing it locked my screen.  This isn't the first odd lag that I've found with the SM kernel.

Now that I'm done with my lunch (and dinner) I think I will go ahead and at least put Trasig back on my phone.

Did any of you try Trasig out?  Just curious if you've used it and found SM still to be a better kernel.

I've been really happy with it.  Unfortunately it's not being actively developed right now.  And it's not got the latest Voodoo control capabilities.  That's the downside for me.

It sparked my interest but I was put off by all the [EXPERIMENTAL] and [BETA] tags I saw associated with it.
That and the fact that it didn't seem to be CWM compatible.

Hmm, I might just switch back to K12T, I had no problems with that so why not. Im not fussed on having the latest. Have you tried Lastufo's Kernel?

Would be great if trasig kept his kernel updated, unfortunate he's added hardcores brightness fixes. Those fixes are one of the main reasons I kept trasig's kernel. Might just remove hardcore's brightness, update voodoo sound and compile a build myself when I get time.

I got impatient and have just been itching to flash a new ROM for a while now, so just flashed a Doc's ROM I cooked up last night, a change from running Darkys. Very painless.

Just restoring my app/data using Titanium Backup, which I purchased and highly recommend others to do so. Makes backing up and reinstalling a breeze.

I think I have Flasher Fever :P
