I have just gone from the Nexus 5 to a OnePlus One which is a similar jump. I have found the OPO awkward to handle at times which was probably the same when I made the jump up to the N5. I am beginning to wonder if I could go back to the N5 now (which I still have) as it is starting to feel dinky. Each to their own. It still fits in my shirt pocket which was the test...

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Smithy100: That 6 is a beast... too beastly for me - looks like I'll be upgrading my N5 with a Z3.

I went from a N5 to a Z2.  Never looked back. Only thing I miss is pure android, but google now launcher compensates.

Krishant007: They really need 32gb to be minimum for tablets. I wouldnt mind the lack of SD card if the capacities were higher (64gb is a good size to have for tablets).

Regarding nexus 6.. Erm.. Too big for a phone.. They should have capped it off at 5 inches

Same size as the iPhone 6+ but with .5" more screen.

Perfect size

I think you will find it's a little longer and wider than the 6+

Too big for me.

I wonder if the N6 will bend? ;-)

I also wonder if the ancient (in tech terms) TF101 I am writing this on will see Lollipop? (Currently running 4.4.4)

Running 4.4.4 (Kat Kiss) on my TF101 as well. Great machine. It certainly will be interesting to see if it gets an upgrade. Also looking forward to a GT-N7105 update from Omni :-)

Nexus 6 is too big for me. My Nexus 5 is the limit of how big I want a phone to be. Also the price! ouch.

I like the look of the Nexus 9, but more than I am willing to spend right now.

The nexus 6 looks like the specs are perfect for what i want from a smart phone - but i will definitely be holding off until anandtech and mkbhd have reviewed the camera and battery life before deciding.
For me its gonna be a toss up between the Nexus 6 and the Note 4 (and possibly another look at G3/M8/Moto-X2014) - Now the Nexus 6 is here and its significantly more expensive, no sd card and amoled screen mean the note 4 is nudging ahead and if the camera isnt fantastic the Note 4 looks like its more likely to be my next device.

I have a Note II currently, this is exactly the upgrade I was looking for, size wise.

I think it could be a bit big for me, over  Nexus 5. If Android L enhances battery life on the N5 then I will keep that phone for another year at least. There is no other compelling reason to upgrade.

Disappointed will be my son who won't get my hand-me-down :-(

Reading these posts and laughing to myself. I was a very early adopter of the HTC Desire HD and well recall nearly everyone I knew saying they could never go to a phone that size, it was too big to be useful. Either guys pockets have got bigger or our eyesight is getting old and we need large screens.
The Desire HD had a 4.3" screen with a  4.84 x 2.68 x 0.46 in body :-)

Edit: typo

Having been on a 6" phone, Nokia Lumia 1520, for a year, I think 6" is the perfect size, no worries fitting in my pants pocket here and I like that size way more than my N5

I've got used to the size of my Samsung Galaxy S3 and probably will stick with around that size. Only because I have several Tom Bihn bags that have sweet phone pockets that don't handle larger sizes :-)
Unlike you guys, I never carry a phone in a pocket (have you seen the pathetic sizes of pockets in women's clothing?!!!) and I use Tom Bihn bags every day. Assuming he comes out with a new range to suit the larger iPhone 6 models, upgrading a phone will get expensive. Phone + Otterbox case + new bag(s) from the US. Ugh. you lot have it easy!

Ah the old Desire HD, I have one of those laying around in a drawer somewhere. But I do admit the first thing I tried before buying was whether it would fit in my pocket, because at the time it seemed to be huge.
I understand people's frustration at there being no new Nexus phone but I believe Google's modus is to produce devices to showcase the latest version of android rather than one to use as a daily mover.

There is every chance I will try Lollipop on my TF101 and maybe convert my M7 to GPE if I have to have it before HTC produce their version (3 months?) and Spark test and approve it (2 months?). By then the M9 or S6 will be on the horizon.
