It's not the first time my Visa has been rejected when making purchases online because it's an "NZ based Visa".

Might be time to move on and sign up with a different bank.

You sure they didnt cancel it because the bank blocked the transaction?? My bank ANZ blocked it, thought it was fraudulent, and only after I told them it was legit did the item ship

Did your card still have a hold charge on it? Just curious as I've ordered with an ANZ debit card and I had a hold placed on it (until it was automatically removed after a week). Still waiting on my order from Feb 21st...

Not exactly sure what you are asking. My process went,

Ordered Nexus 4, charge made to card (a dollar I think) from Google market inc., When the order went to ship, they sent me shipping info and I waited. After 7-8 days of the shipment still not showing delievered to youpost I logged onto my ANZ account to find a secure mail from them. Rang them and they had blocked my credit card. In their view it appeared to be fraudulent. She stated they often see holding charges, followed days later by whole charges, but the fact that the second charge came from different source (google phones inc.) they thought it was fraud.

I told them it was legit, they OK'd the transactions and renabled my card, and what do you know 4 days later the parcel arrives. IMO they had not shipped it despite saying they had, only once the payment clear did it ship.

Ah I see. I shall look out for any secure mails from ANZ once my order ships. Thanks for this.

Was mainly asking because it's been 1 week and 6 days since I placed my order, yet my wallet only displays 1 bullet point. I heard that the second one doesn't come immediately if you have authorization problems with your card so I was just curious as to what part you got tripped up on.

Well, I found out what the issue was. It turns out my address I had entered into my Google Wallet account settings was still set as my NZ address, therefor Google was all like "WUT" when I used the US address as my billing info and shipping info.

I still have not been able to make my purchase because the last moron from Google Wallet I talked to off-handedly said that my account is 'on-hold'. I emailed asking why and for it to be released. I keep getting stupid pre-written scripted replies. I've given up and have since found someone who is able to order one for me.

Moral of the story is, if something goes wrong with your account, don't rely on Google Support.

My 2nd attempt at ordering the Nexus 4 still has it as 'pending' and has been for a week because I assume my account is on-hold and no Google Support contact will talk to me about or even respond with anything coherent.

Arrived today! Total time 13 days. Youshop only gives out tracking number when your package arrives in Auckland, which means only the last two days are tracked. Contrast with UPS, where the package is tracked every stage of the way.

Just had my order from Google for another nexus 4 cancelled after it had been pending for two days. Something about not matching m mail addresses. The strange thing is I have in the past 4 months purchased a nexus a Chromebook and an orb. All went through without a hitch. I haven't changed anyof my details at bank or Google. So I wonder has Google changed their criteria or something. I have reordered and will see if the same thing happens.... A mystery

Has anyone managed to purchase a Nexus in the past 3 weeks successfully? Getting frustrated here. I've had four orders initially accepted then receive emails 1-2 days later to say the order has been cancelled.

The thing is that I have already successfully ordered a phone and an Orb 6 weeks ago but now it keeps getting cancelled due to my credit card address or something similar. I have checked and in my bank address it says the Youshop address as it did previously and I haven't changed anything since ordering.

I have tried a Debit Card with no luck also. Phoned Google support who said they would look into it and contact me within a day (Yeah Right) 4 days later no response.

I really want to get one for my wife's birthday but running out of time. Can anyone help with this?

I think your bank is denying it because if you have placed so many orders and so many random withdrawals going out of your account when it doesn't even state who it is going to, the bank is going to cancel it. This happened to me with ASB. I was at the point where I kept re-ordering then I finally got that msg. Maybe phone up your bank to talk about it. My bank ASB said they can't interfere in the process so they can't personally authorize the transaction it must be done through the system they were talking about. I would try put my billing address and delivery address as youshop and simply just put in my credit card details. Other than that i'm not too sure.

Thanks, I am with ASB also. I have phoned them and checked that the CC address is the Youshop one. When you suggest above that you would put the billing and the delivery address as Youshop are you referring to ASB details. I have updated my address a couple of times with ASB and also removed and re-entered my billing and shipping addresses and CC on Google Wallet with no luck.....frustrating

Ritzlal you sound exactly the same as me with ASB etc. I have now tried to order and have reestablished the same Youshop address and removed and replaced the same CC on Wallet but no joy at all. Has been cancelled 6 or 7 times now (you think I would learn).

To me it points to a change in what Google are doing to verify the CC details. Most frustrating.

I too am keen to find a solution.......ANYONE?

Haha 6-7 times :) you're very patient! I tried twice and got frustrated. Told a friend I'd get him the 8GB Nexus for $400NZD or less but I haven't been able to deliver for him!

I wonder if they are checking the name on the credit card and the name in Google Wallet since my name in Google Wallet is "NZ***** Firstname Lastname" which is according to YouShop (matched YouShop address to Google Wallet). Something has changed but I just can't figure out what!
