networkn: I don't get it, why would you spend $370 on this, and not $429 and get a Galaxy S3?

I wouldn't spend $370 on it.  The 8GB model is $299 in JB HiFi, including a very nice flip case.  So you're comparing 299 vs 502 (lowest delivered price of $472 plus $30 for a case), ie 67% extra for the S3
Plus i only paid 270 for my 16gb getting it off Amazon

How can you get a Moto g XT1032 16GB from Amazon my current price from the UK with out freight or credit card charges is $284.64

(1) Use US, exchange rate is better
(2) Use a prime trial
(3) Use a youshop promo code.

My total was $261NZ to my door..

 (3) Use a youshop promo code.  this expired on the 13 Dec.

Archer77: Harvey Norman have them too, looks to be marketed as "2 Degrees Moto G". Perhaps they throw in a sim card? When I bought one from JB Hifi for the wife it was not marketed for any network (and no sim).

2 Degrees Moto G  phone is free when you take out a monthly contract, I checked in the shop today.

Nothing listed  on 2 Degrees

Timmyarmstrong: Regarding Youshop

You can get 10% off Youshop if you use the promo code "Westpac" and use a westpac card. Applies to USA and UK warehouses, expires August

I used this code and also ordered a case from overseas for my moto g as well as a few other things. You may aswell buy a case at the same time because if you pay at the same time for all your parcels you get $6 off per additional parcel after your first one.

Hi what type of Case did you get..?

Thanks.

I was considering getting a official moto g shell but some reviewers said the colors were off on a few of the cases (red was actually pink) so I just decided to get a plain case to project the screen and back.

I ended up getting this case because I liked the plain black design and it was meant to elevate the phone so the screen wouldn't get scratched.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GY6X9RK
It also has a screen protector included, I didn't pay $10 like it says there, around 5 or 6.

This case has better reviews but I didn't like the look so much: http://www.amazon.com/TUDIA-Melody-Protective-Motorola-SmartPhone/dp/B00H2RXPDS/

Haven't actually received the case or the phone. It is in transit to New Zealand after being processed by YouShop.

Toledo: This is available in all 2degrees stores from today at $299 for the 8gb model but we have no ETA on the 16gb, dual sim model and like all of our phones they are unlocked. Harvey Normans are probably selling them as 2degrees as they will have been supplied by us.

Pretty decent phone for the money! I have been playing with it all morning and cant fault it.

Do you know whether 2degrees stores are selling the flip cases separately? As JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Normans don't seem to be...

Yeah I'm running into this problem...thinking I'll just wait for casemate to do their's as I'm more of a fumbler than scratcher

What plan does someone have to go on to get it free?

I need some thing like the Moto G Flip case but Amazon, they only list the White as some $41us, Motorola list it around $29.99us  but No Red,? my wife is used to a flip phone so need some thing to protect the screen.

Their  is a NZ listed firm ?  that sells them for $31nz from memory but no current stock.

One review stated don't bother price is far to high.

I ordered a case from Amazon just before they were released here.  It arrived today   but it's not like the one that comes with the fone here.  It's just a clip on  over the existing back.   The one sold here  with the fone works really well..  My wife is quite impressed  that the screen goes off and on when you close and open it..

Flip cover is really good.
Replaces the back cover so no extra bulk. magnetic and stays shut without a clasp and as noted turns screen on and off when you open/close it.

It's funny - I love the double tap to wake on my lumia and the auto screen off on my wife's moto g.

So i continually try and double tap the moto g and close my lumia case without turning screen off.

Mine was out of stock when I ordered - came back in stock 3-4 days later?
