motorwayne: I have been having  a lot of re-dial happening.. The blinking call button is right above the main HOME key and when my thumb pushes it to exit the dialer, it pretty much always touches the screen. Anyone else noticing thing..Maybe I have big hands?

I haven't been redialing, but often push whatever is on the screen just above the home button as well. And I don't have big thumbs

If you are using TouchWiz, long hold on it then drag it somewhere else. I use Apex Launcher and you can leave a gap above the home button with that launcher, not that I have neanderthal thumbs and need to :)

Ok, sorry, maybe it's a function of being rooted. My phone does it.

Has anyone else got this bug: when i answer a phone call, the earpiece does not work - that is, I cannot hear the person on the other end. They call again, and the earpiece works this time. Another thing I have tried is to turn the speaker phone on and off again - that made the earpiece work as well.

Just wondering if this is just my unit or touchwiz.

Really? Does that work in NZ? I tried OTA for the first update that came out, and for me, was only available in Kies. Didn't think to try OTA again this time.

I went into store and just got the phone changed. I had bought the phone 6 days ago and they have a simple replace policy for any issues within the first 14 days (dick smith!!). I am glad I didnt buy parallel imported - yes it is sometimes cheaper, but no way you get this sort of service or warranty handling

It downloaded etc fine but wouldnt install, probably because my phone is rooted, so just grabbed the update from sammobile and flashed it via odin instead.

EDIT: Not sure about other methods but upgrading via Odin breaks root.
