Ah fair enough. I got the updates while overseas so not sure if that helped? What's a CA fix sorry?

Anyone found any decent screen protectors for the mate 20 pro? the closest i've been able to get is the mate 20 /pro "compatible" one for PB

Which honestly, Doesn't fit well at all.

I don't recommend the one from Noel Leeming. Finger print sensor doesn't want work and using gestures is very hit and miss I've found.

I got the ScreenKnight one which is a wet apply protector. These generally give you a bit of a rubbery feel initially but tend to smoothen out a bit over time. Coverage is good too - almost full screen including the edges. I do still prefer to use it without a protector but decided to put this on while on holiday.

Can someone clarify what the story is with updates? I'm still on the November security patch. Thanks.

Wet application screen protectors have been around for a few years. Pros and cons just like everything of course. Some images attached for those that are interested.

Apparently the b7 fix did go in after all. Looks like b40 might still be to come... Will have to properly test at some stage...

I discovered that my mp3 ringtones have been magically deleted. i didn't do it as i don't touch my phone, no one else touches my phone. in fact my phone lasts a week between 75% to 50% before i charge it back to 75 percent.
